Child of Our Time: Try our surveys

Updated Monday 23rd January 2017

How does your sense of self compare with other people? How good are you at performing complex tasks? How do you and your children cope with stress? Try our surveys to find out

For previous Child of Our Time series, we have offered surveys on different aspects of childhood and youth development.

Thanks to your answers, we've built a large bank of knowledge about your attitudes and experiences.

If you haven't yet completed any of our surveys, you can attempt them below. They only take a few minutes each, and you can compare your results with those of other groups of people.

For Child of Our Time 2013, we've added a brand new survey that aims to find out about the impact of Child of Our Time, and the resources we've created to support the series.

For further information, take a look at our frequently asked questions which may give you the support you need.

Exploring children's learning

How does a child's mind and behaviour change as they develop over time? In this free course, Exploring children's learning, four theories of child development are explored. Each theory views child development from a different perspective and all have underpinned psychological research for many years, and continue to do so today. By the end of this course you will have a good understanding of each of the theories and will probably have begun to challenge your own assumptions about how your own children, or children you know, have developed over time.
