This quiz is rubbish
Autism was a previously-unknown (NOT unidentified) condition until described in the 1940s by Leo Kanner, a world-renowned child psychologist, who labelled it "a novel form of childhood disorder". Until the mid-1980s it was extremely rare (less than 1 in 40,000) when it started to increase exponentially, first in America, then in other "developed" countries like Britain, where it is now estimated at 1 in 100. It is still extremely rare in "underdeveloped" countries (I doubt you'll find many cases in Ethiopia, it is unheard-of in Somalia although there is now an epidemic of it among Somali children in the US). As there is no such thing as a genetic epidemic, the trigger must be environmental (although there is an element of genetic predisposition). The prime suspect is vaccines, the schedule for which has also increased in parallel with the rate of autism. This is a conclusion which the drug companies and their hired helps are desperate to deny.

I agree with you on your comments. I too disagreed with some of the answers in this quiz. I guess the OU have to tow the conventional thinking line.
Autism Quiz
This quiz is a great idea! I have a stepson who is on the autistic spectrum and I thought I was pretty well informed. Thank you for putting me right.
