These directions will guide you along the route of the Edinburgh audio walk. Why not print out this page and take it with you?

The walk takes roughly 1 and a half hours if you're listening to the audio.

The route is on roads and pavements, but the Royal Mile section is quite steep. So the walk is possible for wheelchair users, but may require a bit of muscle.

Start

The walk begins on the path, at the point where it crosses the railings around St Margaret’s Well.

Point 1: Holyrood Park

Cross the road and car park ahead. Follow the palace wall around to the side gates of the palace.
