Biography

Read Armand Leroi’s biography.

Professor Armand Leroi is professor of evolutionary developmental biology at Imperial College.
He works on the control of growth and ageing in the worm C. elegans and its relations. In 2003 he published a popular science book called Mutants: on the growth, form and variety of the human body. He has presented and written a number of series for British and US TV, most recently on Darwin for the BBC, National Geographic and the Discovery Channel.
Armand is currently involved in a large public experiment exploring the evolution of music. Get involved at DarwinTunes.org
