Biography

Read Brian James’s biography.

Brian James is chief executive of Rotherham General Hospital. He has worked in the NHS for nearly 30 years, with experience spanning such areas as strategy, hospital management, business development and information management and technology.

In his last post he was director of health service strategy and innovation for South Yorkshire Strategic Health Authority, and prior to this was director of strategy and operations at the South Durham Healthcare NHS Trust.

He has a Masters degree in health informatics.
