Biography

Read Dr Alex Oliver’s biography.

Dr Alex Oliver is reader in philosophy at Cambridge University, and fellow of Gonville and Caius College. His research interests include intellectual property, the ethics of organisations, and plural logic.
Alongside Dominic Scott, Alex established The Forum for Philosophy in Business, which brings together philosophers with practitioners at the highest levels of government, the professions and business. The Forum’s recent research projects include reports on pharmaceutical ethics and on tax avoidance. Alex has also undertaken consultancy work on loyalty, vocational education and corporate values.
