Biography

Read Dr Bill Bytheway’s biography.

Bill is a senior research fellow at The Open University's Faculty of Health and Social Care. He’s a Founding Fellow of the British Society of Gerontology and a member of the Academy of Social Sciences. Bill has researched the impact of Hurricane Katrina on older people; age discrimination in Britain, and the relationship between chronological age and the celebration of birthdays.
