Biography

Read Dr Françoise Parent-Ugochukwu’s biography.

Françoise Ugochukwu lectures in French at The Open University and has previously lectured in Higher Education in Nigeria, France and the UK. She was awarded the Habilitation à diriger des recherches, University of Chambéry, in 2002 and qualified as a French university professor in comparative literature in 2004. For her contribution to strengthening cultural and educational ties between France and Nigeria, she was awarded the national distinction of Chevalier des Palmes Académiques.
