Biography

Read Dr Janet Seden’s biography.

Janet Seden is a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Health and Social Care at The Open University, where she chairs the course Managing Care. She has worked as a supervisor; counsellor/trainer; probation officer; children and families field social worker; and as a social worker/manager in a family centre.
Her work has been published widely including books on managing care, social work processes, spirituality and practice teaching, and the assessment of and provision of services for children and their families. Janet’s most recent publication, Enhancing Social Work Management, was released in 2007.
