Biography

Read Dr Lucy Rai’s biography.

Dr Lucy Rai is a senior lecturer in social work at The Open University, where she has worked since 2000. She has been involved in social work education for over 15 years and prior to that worked as residential social worker and subsequently a qualified childcare social worker in Bristol and North Somerset. Lucy was an academic advisor for the BBC series A Child of Our Time and Someone to Watch Over You.
