Read Dr Michelle De Haan’s biography.

Dr Michelle de Haan is a senior lecturer at the Institute of Child Health and honorary neuropsychologist at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Trust. She has a strong background in child psychology and neuroscience.
One of Michelle’s current research interests is in the development of brain systems involved in perceiving and understanding social information in faces. The basic question is: how and to what extent do our social experiences shape how these systems develop? This work has included studies of infants and children growing up in both typical and atypical social environments.
