Biography

Read Dr Peter Naish’s biography.

Peter Naish is a senior lecturer in cognitive psychology at The Open University. He has a particular interest in the mechanisms and effects of hypnosis, including its ability to influence perceptions or memories.
He is Chair of the Council of the British Society of Clinical and Academic Hypnosis, and chairs the Scientific Advisory Board of the British False Memory Society. Peter is also President Elect of the Hypnosis and Psychosomatic Medicine Section of the Royal Society of Medicine.
