Read Dr Toby Murcott’s biography.

A biochemist by training, Toby Murcott has spent the last fifteen years as a science writer, broadcaster and producer including seven years at BBC Radio. He writes regularly for The Times, produces programmes for BBC Radio 4 and recently published his first book on medical research and complementary medicine. Having had experience of academic science and its more accessible form, Toby has become particularly interested in how research is used and abused when it reaches the public domain.
