Heather Swanson is an associate lecturer with The Open University, teaching The Renaissance: A Cultural Enquiry and An Introduction to the Humanities.
Her main research interest is late medieval urban history; her published work includes Medieval British Towns (Macmillan, 1999) and Medieval Artisans; an Urban Class in Late Medieval England (Blackwell, 1989).
