Jean Kane

Jean Kane was a teacher in secondary schools in England and Scotland for 20 years and then worked in teacher education. She has worked with a number of local authorities in Scotland in the development of more inclusive policy and provision in schools. Her current interests are in equalities and schooling, particularly in relation to class and gender. She in the final stages of her PhD which is on masculine identities and school exclusions.
