John Scully

John Scully is the information systems project manager for The Open University Business School and is responsible for the development and maintenance of all the school's web-based products and services. John arrived at the school in 1996 from Liverpool John Moores University where he was a teaching fellow with the Law faculty. There he finished his MPhil on the application of hypertext to legal education and was retained by the faculty to conduct research into the change management issues relating to academic staff and new technologies.
Before that John completed his law degree with University College Dublin. John is primarily concerned with the application of Internet technologies to the business of teaching and learning. This embraces both the pedogogical aspects as well as the administrative aspects of the business. John has published and presented several times on the issues relating to these subjects.
