Professor Matthew Kieran

Matthew Kieran is senior lecturer in philosophy and the arts at the University of Leeds. His research interests primarily focus on inter-sections between philosophy of art, ethics and moral psychology. He is the author of Revealing Art, editor of various collections in aesthetics and has given various art world lectures including the Knowing Art series at Tate Britain.
Matthew is also a past visiting professor of the University of British Columbia (Canada) and Rhodes University (South Africa), and was nominated for the THES Young Academic of the Year Award 2005.
