Read Professor Raphael Kaplinsky’s biography.

Raphael Kaplinsky is professor of international development at the Department of Policy and Practice at The Open University. He is currently working with a group of African and European scholars in assessing the impact of the Asian Drivers (China and India) on developing countries in general, and sub-Saharan Africa in particular.
