Read Ruth Padel’s biography.

Poet and author Ruth Padel is a fellow of the the Royal Society of Literature and Zoological Society of London.

Her book Darwin - A Life In Poems was shortlisted for the 2009 Costa Prize. She is a great-great-grandaughter of the celebrated naturalist.
