About me

Stephen Chandler is currently a PhD research student at the Open University. His primary research is in the analysis of human sequence data with the identification of variants that increase susceptibility to the development of cancers. Stephen studied marine biology at Portsmouth University, and a Master’s of Science in Ecology, Conservation, and Evolution at the Imperial College London. During this time he worked on microbial communities of Antarctica and climate change using computer coding and programming software to interrogate sequence data and identify species’.
