Biography

Read Sunder Katwala’s biography.

Sunder Katwala is general secretary of the Fabian Society, the leading left-of-centre thinktank and membership-based political society. Sunder joined the Fabian staff in 2003 from the Observer, where he was internet editor and a leader writer and editor of the paper's 2001 election guide. He was previously research director of the Foreign Policy Centre and commissioning editor for politics and economics at the publisher Macmillan. His main areas of interest include political ideas and the left, Britishness and citizenship, foreign policy and Europe.
