Read Tom Kirkwood’s biography.

Tom Kirkwood is professor of medicine and head of the Department of Gerontology at the University of Newcastle.

Tom gave 2001's Reith Lectures for BBC Radio 4. He's the author of Time of Our Lives - Why ageing is neither inevitable nor necessary.
