This week, the Naked Scientists turn their attention to the way sport relies on science - either when unwittingly using the laws of science, or when preparation takes place in the lab as much as in the gym.

You can hear The Naked Scientists on BBC Cambridgeshire, BBC Norfolk, BBC Northamptonshire and BBC Suffolk at 6pm on Sunday evening; you can also catch up through iPlayer for a week afterwards or download the programme as a podcast from the Naked Scientists website.
