Presented by Evan Davis, The Bottom Line cuts through confusion, statistics and spin to present a clearer view of the business world, through discussion with people running leading and emerging companies.

This week, Evan and guests discuss public perception of the financial services sector. Is the industry really 'parasitic', as has been claimed, or does it create genuine value? Can the sector still attract young people? And, if a job in finance wasn't available, what would the guests do instead?

In the studio this wek are Julian Roberts, CEO of Old Mutual; Ian Gorham, CEO of Hargreaves Lansdown plc; and Ken Olisa, Chairman of Restoration Partners.

The Bottom Line can be heard on BBC Radio 4 on Thursdays and Saturdays, or via Listen Again; the same episodes can be seen on the BBC News Channel at weekends and via BBC iPlayer.
