3.2 Reach
Reach refers to the fact that digital technology allows us to share data easily with potentially millions of other people around the globe. It also allows us to collect data from spacecraft at vast distances away from Earth. For example, NASA’s New Horizons project is sending back information from the edge of the Solar System (Figure 11).
