2.2 Al-hamzah الهَمْزَة
This signء which is pronounced as a glottal stop and can be written in different forms based on factors like its vowel and the vowel of the previous letter, such as: ‘ أ - إ - ؤ - ئ - ء - ــئــ’. You don’t have to memorise all of these at this stage, but you should pay close attention to the different pronunciations. Listen to the following audio and repeat what you hear.
