9.4 Activity: Developing your strategy for using skills in working with others

Develop a strategy for using skills in working with others over a period of time. Your strategy should include:

  • an identification of the opportunities you can use to practise your skills in working with others;

  • an identification of what you hope to achieve by working on this key skill, expressed as targets;

  • the resources you might use for developing your skills, including specific help and support you need for planning purposes; and

  • a plan of how you will work with others, including methods and working relationships.

As part of your strategy document you need to include:

  • records of your information research logged in an appropriate way;

  • records of your planning process, with notes of how you negotiated responsibilities and working arrangements; and

  • statements on the expected quality of outcomes with notes on selected methods.
