This is the last of the sessions that looks at the four jurisdictions of the UK. You'll consider how and why Northern Ireland has developed a unique youth justice system that relies heavily on something called restorative justice. Restorative justice features in many areas of youth justice across all four jurisdictions of the UK.

But here you'll discover a lot more about it, and explore the reasons why restorative justice has become so central to youth justice in Northern Ireland. You'll also take a look at moves to increase the age of criminal responsibility in Northern Ireland, following the example of its neighbor to the South, the Republic, and similar initiatives in Scotland.
