Now you have seen how an evaluation of skills and experience can help you reflect on your own personal perspective about your current work situation, you can move on to consider your development needs and how these should be prioritised. Now try Activity 2.
- Read ‘Teacher early professional development: the context’ by Banks et al (linked below). As you read, compare your experience as a beginning teacher to the experiences related in the reading and make brief notes.
