Sport injury can have a massive impact. And, of course, it would be better if injuries didn't happen at all. So that's what we turn our attention to now in this next part of the course, injury prevention. Over the next two sessions, you'll be looking at how psychological factors can increase the risk of sports injury and how psychological strategies can be put in place to help minimise injury. We often find that injuries occur at times when people are experiencing a lot of stress in their lives. And the links between stress and sport injury is something that you're going to be looking at a lot as you progress through this course.
