Thanks for coming in Seth. I know this was all very stressful for you and that you don’t really have that good an idea about what happened. Don't worry, I don't need much from you. Really I just need to check a few facts, and get a formal statement of your account. Let's start at the beginning. You said you saw an Audi, an A8 I think, drive into your street with its tyres squealing. Is that right?

SETH

Yeah, yeah, that’s right. It was a silver Audi A8. Its tyres were really screeching, so it must have been driving and braking very quickly.

DI BULLET

So it screeches to a stop and the robbers all pile out. Was anyone shouting at this point?

SETH

Yes. I think all of them were shouting.

DI BULLET

What about the driver? Was he shouting?

SETH

Yes.

DI BULLET

So they all pile out of the car, and the driver is shouting. Was he shouting at you? Was he shouting at the guards? Was he shouting at the other robbers? Perhaps telling them to hurry up, or giving them other orders?

SETH

He was definitely shouting a lot, and yes, I'm sure I can remember him shouting to the others.

DI BULLET

This driver guy, the one who was the leader. He was a big guy right? Dressed in army fatigues, and with an army like hair cut?

SETH

Yes, he looked just like a soldier.

DI BULLET

So, what, was he 6 foot 4 maybe? Hair cut so short he almost looked bald, in fact could have been bald? Tough looking guy, not the sort you'd want to mess with?

SETH

Yes, that's right. I wouldn't want to mess with him on a good day, let alone when he was pointing a shot gun at me!

DI BULLET

They were all armed, right? I mean, the armed robbers were all armed, is that correct?

SETH

Obviously. Yeah, I think so. They all had shot guns.

DI BULLET

Okay. So we've got the leader who dresses like, acts like and looks like a soldier. He's 6 foot 4. A real tough looking bald guy, shouting orders and waving a gun around. Two others have masks, and then we have a...

SETH

Well, there was something about one of the masked men...

DI BULLET

They had masks mate. Let's concentrate on those you can actually describe. The fourth man, the Indian guy who attacked the security guard. You said he was a very stocky kind of man. Definitely not thin, so we're talking overweight. Really bulked out his clothes. Can you describe anything else about him?

SETH

He had quite long, black hair, it was very curly. He was probably 5 foot 3.

DI BULLET

Great stuff Seth. So we're looking for an overweight man of 5 foot 3, with long curly black hair and of Indian origin. Is that about right?

SETH

I think so, yes.

DI BULLET

Okay Seth. You can relax mate. I've got all I need, you've been very helpful indeed. I’ll arrange a car to pick you up. Is there anything else before I go?

SETH

Oh yeah, well, there is. I thought, um, well ummm...I thought there was, it’s difficult, there was something not quite right about one of them, and um...

DI BULLET

What? No?

SETH

umm, no, it’s alright, I was just really scared. I’m really glad I was able to help you I didn’t think I’d be of any use.

DI BULLET

Seth you’ve been very very helpful, thanks very much for coming in and I’ll go an arrange that car now.
