  3. Where do you have control or influence with regard to this goal?

  2. What obstacles are in your way to prevent you moving forward?
  3. What resources do you already have to help you achieve your outcome?

  1. What could you do to move yourself forward just one step now?
  2. What else could you do?
  3. If you could devote all your time to this one thing, what would you do?
What will you do next? To gain commitment for the actions discussed, and make decisions about when and how they will be carried out.
  1. List the actions you must go through to complete the task you have chosen. How will these actions meet your main goal?
  2. When are you going to take these actions?
  3. Should anyone else be involved? Who else should know? When will you tell them?
  4. Looking at your first step, can you think of any barriers that might stop you? How will you overcome these obstacles?
