This photograph is of a dark coloured bronze statue of the poet Ovid in front of the archaeological museum in Constanta. The statue depicts the whole body of Ovid, who is wearing a toga and looking down at the ground with his hand resting on his chin and a pensive expression on his face. The building of the archaeological museum behind him is ornate with three archways visible and a sign that says Muzeul de Istorie Nationala şi Arheologie Constanta.
