A historic map, with faded blue and green colours and details picked out in white and red. Ovid’s journey from ‘Roma’ on the map to ‘Tomis’ is mapped out in a white line which meanders around the coastline. Some settlements are drawn in as little houses and buildings in red and some forests are shown as small green clumps of trees. In the sea there are sea monsters and mermaids as well as images of a large ship.
