This is a diagram of the so-called triangle of power. In the centre is the word ‘Reputation’. Around this are arranged three circles with ‘Talent’, ‘Distribution’ and ‘Money’ written across them. These circles are connected by lines to form the triangle. Each circle has some accompanying text. The Talent circle is labelled with ‘Actors, Writers, Directors’ and ‘Filmmakers' representatives – Agents, managers, lawyers’. The Distribution circle is labelled with ‘Theatrical, VoD, DVD, TV, Foreign’. The Money circle is labelled with ‘Development, Production, Distribution rights’. These concepts are explored further in the upcoming course text.
