Long description
This example shows a short keyboard exercise for left and right hands. Notated on a grand staff, there is a rising and falling pattern for each hand. For the left hand, the pattern moves from the C below middle C to the G above it and back down to the initial C, using only the white notes. The fingering is provided for each note, starting and ending on 5 (the little finger). The pattern is then repeated in the right hand, which moves from middle C to the G above it and back down to the initial C. The fingering is again provided for each note, starting and ending on 1 (the thumb).
