This figure contains two images. The first shows the keys of a keyboard (four octaves, from the C two octaves below middle C to the C two octaves above it). The notes that correspond to the white keys in the first image are shown on a grand staff in the second image, ascending left to right (low to high) in the pattern C, D, E, F, G etc.
