Long description
This is a colour photo of St. Paul’s Cathedral, its surrounding buildings, Blackfriars Bridge and the river as seen from the south bank of the Thames. In the foreground is the river and the sky reflected in the water is blue. There is a boat plying the river. Blackfriars Bridge with its rail line running above it is on right of the photo. The bridge has several arches in red and white. There is a train running on the rail line. To the left of the photo is a wharf and behind it, several four or five storeyed white buildings. Behind these, the cathedral is dominant and visually impressive. To the right of the picture are several skyscraper buildings in the City of London. The sky in the background above the buildings is a bright blue with a few clouds.
