Well done! You’ve nearly completed Start Writing Fiction.

You will hopefully now know more than you did about what creative writing is. You’ll have picked up on the importance of character, and be aware of the importance of reading, using a notebook and editing.

This course is designed to give you tools that help with your writing. But eight weeks is such a very short time, and it can’t be more than a starting point.

Writing is an ongoing activity, and the only way to develop as a writer is to keep doing it.

We hope you feel inspired by the work you have done so far, and that you’ll use the ideas we have explored here to take your writing further.
