Long description
This is a colour photograph taken from inside Notre-Dame Cathedral, near the entrance. It looks east and upward, showing two large holes in the roof of the high vaulted ceiling. Sunlight pours through these holes, illuminating the floor of the church, which is covered with wooden pews and rubble. Along the side of the hall are three floors of ornate stone arches and three stained-glass windows can be seen near the top of the far east wall.
