6.1 Fruits

Tamil Nadu is blessed with a tropical climate (though there are hilly areas, like Kodaikanal where it can get as cool as 2.7 oC). The warm climate in Tamil Nadu favours the growth of several fruits, some of the most popular of which are shown in Table 6.
