Outdoor activities in the Dales area range from mountain biking to horse riding. In North Yorkshire the hostels have a full complement of trained instructors. This includes Scarborough, which is the cheapest of our coastal centres and popular with the younger age group. The scenery in the area is second to none and there is a wide range of excursions available from here and both the other coastal centres we have in the north. There are no organised excursions in other areas.

For those of you who like peace and quiet, Devon is recommended. Our properties are located just over the border from Cornwall and this reflects the nature of the holiday experience there. Again, there is a range of activities but no organised excursions.

We obviously cannot guarantee the weather in our centres so it is advisable that you bring full waterproofs with you and have a change of clothing for each day you will be on site. Payment of the full costs of the holiday will need to be made one month in advance; these are non-refundable.
