Hopefully your Ukrainian guests and friends will enjoy good health, but in case you need to help them with medical issues or accompany them to a doctor’s appointment, this section includes some relevant language.
The vocabulary in this section is detailed because it is also intended for healthcare professionals.

Let’s start by asking ‘How are you feeling?’
Як Ви себе почуваєте? Yak vy sebe pochuvaiete? How do you feel? / How are you feeling? (pl.) This is the plural form – if you are a healthcare professional, talking with a patient, you would use this polite plural form.
Як ти себе почуваєш? Yak ty sebe pochuvaiesh? How do you feel? How are you feeling? (singular, informal). A host would probably say this to a guest. We hope the reply will be dobre or even duzhe dobre or chudovo but just in case, there are some other answers in the table and audio below.
