7.2 Stories of hope
There is so much grief and sadness, since Russia invaded Ukraine. We would like to include a hopeful piece of news each week. This week, our hope story has a vyshyvanka theme:

Kristina Korniiuk, 34, who is originally from Kyiv and fled Ukraine following the Russian invasion, marks the Ukrainian celebration of Vyshyvanka Day with a giant traditional shirt, near the home of her host in Cambridge. She made the vyshyvanka out of a bed sheet. As you can see, her host painted her house in the Ukrainian colours, blue and yellow, to welcome her.
