You can try the following:

  • The Old Bailey Online [Tip: hold Ctrl and click a link to open it in a new tab. (Hide tip)] . Digitised accounts from London’s main criminal court – you can search for crimes, criminals and punishments; also generate tables and charts to combine quantitative and qualitative analysis, or even use their API. See the Research and Study Guides for more suggestions.
  • The Cambridge Digital Library collections, such as Curious Objects, Waterloo or Maps.
