This is a map of Italy showing the routes served by high-speed trains. Trains travelling at 300 kms per hour link Salerno with Napoli, Roma, Firenze, Bologna, Milano and Torino. Trains travelling at 250 kms per hour link Bari with Foggia in the South, Bologna with Verona and Padova in the North, and Messina with Catania and Palermo in Sicily, although sections of these lines are still being built. Other lines shown as under construction or at the planning stage link Torino with Genova, Genova with Milano and Verona with Bolzano in the North and Salerno with Reggio Calabria in the South.
