Figure 43 is a symbolic representation comprising an outline, two Amerindian figures and nine symbols. The outline is shaped like a capital letter “I” lying on its side. The Amerindians are at either end of the outline and one of them is holding a ball. Two of the symbols are two concentric circles with five smaller circles arranged in a cross pattern within the inner circle. These smaller circles also have another concentric circle within them. These appear to represent the rings. Four of the other symbols are side views of a skull that has a tongue and eyes. The remaining three symbols are similar skull views but with an additional headdress. The round symbols are at the 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock positions. The three skulls with headdresses are arranged in a vertical column between the two circle symbols effectively splitting the outline into two. The Amerindians are at the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions at each end of the outline. The remaining four skulls are arranged in a horizontal square formation between the two Amerindians with two skulls on either side of the column of skulls with headdresses.
