Figure 3 description
The figure is a graph of team performance, plotted vertically, against time, plotted horizontally. As time increases from left to right, the graph starts off near the origin, stays at a low level, begins to rise rapidly and then slows down, becoming horizontal again. The area beneath the graph is divided into vertical sections of roughly equal width. The portions of the graph indicated by these areas are labelled (reading from left to right) ‘Forming’, ‘Storming’, ‘Norming’, ‘Performing’ and ‘Adjourning’.
