Introduction

You have considered different aspects of digital scholarship using the lens of Boyer’s framework. In this final week of the course you will look at a method for considering how you, or an institution, can frame the impact of digital scholarship changes. You will also look at how those changes can play out when implementing a digital approach to scholarship.

Congratulations, you’re almost there. During this last week, we’re looking at the concept of resilience as a way of thinking about how your practise might change. Although it’s the end of the course, I hope that for you, this is just the beginning of your explorations into new ways of collaborating, learning, and teaching, and broadcasting.

For me, it’s a real privilege to be an educator during this period. It really is a time of unprecedented change. We’re finding new ways of working, and trying to retain aspects of the old ways that we feel are vital. The new changes both threats and opportunities to the practice of education. Engaging these changes can be challenging, but also exciting.

I hope that this course has helped you to make the most of what’s now available to us, encouraged you to try new things, and perhaps share a little more. And don’t forget, the final quiz comes at the end of this week to count towards your course badge.
