The photograph is an aerial view of a tall, glass-paned tower shaped like a cucumber, a spaceship or even a gherkin. On its surface can be seen diamond-shaped windows that reflect neighbouring buildings, the sky and the sun. The tower is so tall that it overshadows some of the other buildings around it. These buildings are square, high-rise office buildings; the river Thames is in the background.
